1. Do you have a return policy? Can I return my product after it has reached me?

Yes. DAWNINDIA has a simple return policy under which you can return a product received in a damaged or defective condition. In case of categories like Apparel and Footwear, the return policy is also applicable if the product does not fit you due to a size mismatch.

DAWNINDIA has a 48 hours return policy which means that you can request a return within 48 hours of receiving the product by you.

2. Are there specific conditions under which the product returns/replacements may be rejected?

Returns for replacement/refunds/exchange under certain scenarios will NOT be accepted as given below:

i.   Request for return is made after 48 hours of receiving the product by you
ii.   Product is used or is not in its original condition. The product should not be washed or ironed.
iii.   Products are returned without its original packaging, freebies or accessories.
iv.   Product was damaged after use/opening.
v.   Incidental damage due to malfunctioning of the product.
vi.   Products like innerwear, freebies, bullion, etc. do not qualify for replacement, exchanges or refund (please refer to relevant FAQ in this regard for complete list).
vii.   Any consumable item which has been used or installed.
viii.   Product with tampered or missing serial number/IMEI number/UPC number.
ix.   Missing manufacturer tag especially in case of apparel and footwear.
x.   Any damage/defect which is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty.

  • Electronic items: We require a document from the brand/OEM’s service centre confirming that the delivered item was defective. We will carry out a quality check to validate the complaint before processing any request for refund/replacement. Returns/replacements will be accepted for only those items which are found to be faulty/ defective.
  • Items that you return should not be used, washed, altered/tampered or soiled. All original packing, labels, tags, leaflets, manuals, warranty/guarantee cards, freebies, accessories such as belts, locks, straps, etc. should be intact. The courier will not accept your item in absence of these.
  • Some items are bound by the brand’s specific policies regarding repair, exchange and returns. These policies will be binding on the customer.
  • Replacements will depend on the availability of the item.
  • Refund or replacement will be initiated after the pick-up of product.
  •  Automobile Products (two-wheelers, four-wheelers and Commercial Vehicles) cannot be cancelled or returned.
  • Dawnndia Gift Vouchers are not returnable or refundable for cash.
  • Items sold as sets/combos cannot be exchanged or returned individually.
  • Only replacements are possible for CDs, DVDs and precious jewellery. Please return these items in tamper-proof packaging.


  • In case the replacement item is out of stock, we will refund your amount.
  • Items with locks/passwords should be returned unlocked/disabled.

* Some partners may offer you the option to pay with a credit/debit card upon delivery/pickup. Refunds for such payments will be via NEFT transfer to your bank account or can be refunded to your FreeCharge Balance.


  • We may request for information/documents to verify your credentials before initiating the refund.
  • If the payment mode has expired or is no longer valid, we will refund you one of the modes mentioned above.
